The terms, privacy practices, and copyright that cover MR.V Studios — the artwork, the prints, the sessions, and this website.
Terms & Conditions
Welcome to MR.V Studios. By browsing this website, booking a session, or purchasing artwork, you agree to the terms below. Please read them — they're written to be clear, not to trip you up.
1. Who we are
MR.V Studios is the studio and online store of Rion Valentino ("Mr.V"), an independent visual artist based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. "We," "us," and "our" refer to MR.V Studios.
2. What we offer
- Original paintings — one-of-a-kind, handmade works.
- Limited-edition prints and reproductions.
- In-person creative sessions, events, and commissioned work.
Because everything is handmade, slight variations in colour, texture, and finish are natural characteristics of the work — not defects. Screens also display colour differently, so the piece you receive may vary subtly from your screen.
3. Pricing & payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details. Applicable taxes and shipping are shown at checkout. Your order is confirmed only once payment has been successfully received.
4. All sales are final
Because each piece is original, handmade artwork, all sales are final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds on paintings, prints, or completed commissions once an order has been placed.
Please review your order carefully — size, edition, finish, and shipping details — before you buy. If you have any questions about a piece, reach out before purchasing and we'll gladly help you decide.
5. Damaged or incorrect items
We pack every order with care. In the rare event an item arrives damaged in transit, defective, or materially different from its description, email mrvstudioscalgary@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order details and clear photos. Where a problem is verified, we will — at our discretion — repair, replace, or otherwise make it right. This does not apply to change-of-mind requests or to the natural variation of handmade work.
6. Shipping & delivery
We currently ship within Canada and the United States. Processing and shipping times are estimates, not guarantees. Once an order leaves the studio, delivery timing is in the carrier's hands. You're responsible for providing a complete, accurate shipping address — we aren't responsible for orders lost or delayed due to an incorrect address. U.S. orders may be subject to import duties or taxes, which are the buyer's responsibility.
7. Commissions & custom work
Commissions begin only after the scope and price are agreed in writing. Commission deposits and payments are non-refundable, as the work is reserved and created specifically for you. Timelines are estimates and may shift with the creative process. Final commissioned work is delivered once payment is complete.
8. Sessions, events & bookings
Seats and sessions are paid in advance to reserve your place, and bookings are non-refundable. If you can't attend, contact us at least 48 hours ahead and we'll do our best to reschedule or transfer your seat, subject to availability. No-shows and late cancellations aren't refunded. If the studio cancels an event outright, you'll be offered a new date or a refund of that booking.
9. Intellectual property
All artwork, images, text, and designs on this site are owned by Rion Valentino / MR.V Studios and protected by copyright. Buying a work does not transfer its copyright — see our Copyright notice for details.
10. Limitation of liability
This website and its contents are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, MR.V Studios is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the site, products, or services. Nothing here limits rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Alberta.
12. Changes & contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version always lives on this page. Questions? Email mrvstudioscalgary@gmail.com.

Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep this deliberately simple — MR.V Studios is a small art studio, not an ad network.
1. What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, shipping/billing address, and any message you write when you book a session, place an order, or use the contact form.
- Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and your order details, but never your full card number.
- Automatic information: privacy-respecting analytics — pages visited, an approximate referrer (e.g. Instagram, Google), device type, and a one-year anonymous visitor cookie. IP addresses are stored only in shortened / anonymized form.
2. How we use it
To fulfill and ship orders, confirm and coordinate bookings, reply to your inquiries, send order and booking confirmations, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. That's it.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS security standards. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are never stored on our servers.
4. Cookies & analytics
We use a small number of cookies: one remembers your chosen colour theme, and one anonymous token helps us count unique visitors. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Sharing
We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We share it only with the services needed to run the studio — for example Stripe (payments) and our email provider (order and booking notifications) — and only as needed to complete your request, or where required by law.
6. Data retention & security
We keep order and booking records for as long as needed for business and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize them. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure.
7. Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Email mrvstudioscalgary@gmail.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
8. Contact
Questions about your privacy? Email mrvstudioscalgary@gmail.com.

Copyright
Every painting, print, image, and word on this site is the original work of Rion Valentino. Here's what that means for you.
1. Ownership
© 2026 Rion Valentino / MR.V Studios. All rights reserved. Every artwork, print, image, illustration, and the text and design of this website are the original work of Rion Valentino and are protected under Canadian and international copyright law.
2. Buying art vs. owning the copyright
When you purchase an original painting or a print, you own that physical piece — but the copyright stays with the artist. A purchase does not grant any right to reproduce, copy, scan, re-sell as reproductions, or use the image commercially. Rion Valentino retains the right to reproduce his work (including making prints) and to use images of the work for promotion, exhibition, and portfolio purposes.
3. What you may not do
- Reproduce, copy, or distribute any artwork or image from this site.
- Use any image for commercial purposes, merchandise, or AI training datasets.
- Alter, crop, or remove signatures or watermarks.
- Claim authorship of any work shown here.
4. What's welcome
You're welcome to link to this site and to share photos of artwork you've purchased for personal, non-commercial enjoyment — a credit to @mr.vstudios is always appreciated. For anything else — press, licensing, collaborations — please ask first.
5. Permissions & infringement
To request permission, license an image, or report a copyright concern, email mrvstudioscalgary@gmail.com. We take infringement seriously and will pursue unauthorized use of our work.
